I'm Brittany (my friends call me Britt) I can't wait for us to get to know each other!

We are halfway through 2020? It has gone by both fast and painstakingly slow in my opinion. Covid really messed with our schedule, routine and the fun we had planned for the first half of the year.
When this all first started Pinterest took a turn people were planning more short term and weren’t looking ahead. They were nervous because of the un known and didn’t know what they should be planning in the future. Now that the country is opening up and we are in full on summer mode and there are things that are returning to “normal” and there are things that have had to pivot in order to be relevant.
I have seen so many of my clients pivoting and changing things up to accommodate things. A party shop I work with started carrying activities and toys to keep the kids busy at home while my web design client is creating a budget friendly membership for business owners. With that said I want to share the type of content you should be sharing in the month of July, and first up is the 4th of July!
While this years 4th of July may look a little different with restrictions on fireworks, the amount of people at get togethers and travel restrictions 4th of July may look a little different. Keep in mind that people are still looking for ways to make memories with their family and close friends. So whether that’s a small bbq, patriotic craft ideas for the kids and outfit inspiration for the holiday, people are still looking for ways to make it special. While shipping cut offs have mostly passed and pinning organically wouldn’t be the best decision you can still promote pins if you have a digital product or recipe that you want to push!
While school is sure to look a little different this year kiddos will be going back to school. I think it would be smart to prepare for any situation. People are sure to be searching for e-learning solutions, a learning space for kids and curriculums to supplement at home. On the other hand if kids return to school parents will be looking for supples, apparel and items to make school as normal as possible.
If you’re anything like me we are getting stir crazy and just booked a trip to go back to the Smokey Mountains for a change of scenery. While not everyone feel comfortable doing this maybe its time for a staycation! I have noticed pins starting to pick up for people that want to spend quality time with their families somewhere other than home.
With states opening back up so is the wedding industry. Brides are either adjusting their nuptials for a more intimate ceremony or planning for a future celebration.
All the summer recipes to keep you cool during the warm summer months! If you’re anything like me I hate the idea of standing over a hot stove when its hot outside. So people are looking for simple and healthy recipes for the warmer months.
These are just a few things I would focus on in the month of July! If none of these work for your niches drop a comment below and I will help you brainstorm some ideas. Want to chat and connect you’re always more than welcome to shoot me an email so we can chat about your business!
Here’s to hoping the second half of the year shows us some grace!
